    Helio Sixpence

    Managing Director

    Helio has over 20 years of leadership in private sector, developmental, and academic ecosystems. He is the Managing Director of Elyon Holding and Strategy Director for Kutukula and leads growth, transformation, and partnership strategies across sectors. Helio is a founding member of AMMA (Mozambique Association for Monitoring & Evaluation).

    He has held senior roles for CS Research, Heineken, Vodafone, UNDP, JAM Int., World Vision Int. and Vale Foundation, covering business innovation, market insight, entrepreneurship, and inclusive development. Helio combines systems thinking and implementation brilliance, crafting high-impact programmes and institutional change across Mozambique.

    Ana da Graça S. Uamusse

    Director — Public Sector Reform & Local Governance

    With a 30-plus year government career, Ana is well known for focusing on decentralization, institutional change, and local government in Mozambique. She has served in capacities such as Provincial Secretary, Director for INGEMO, and Senior Advisor to the Minister for State Administration.

    Ana has led nationwide toponymy, community authority management, and e-governance systems reform. She holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and brings comprehensive policy insight and strategic advisory skills to Elyon Holding's public sector practice.

    Arão Baptista Gove

    Director — Research, Evidence & Learning

    Arão is a results-driven M&E and projects management professional with over 9 years of work leading evidence-based programming on food security, climate resilience, and rural development. With Kutukula and CARE International, he leads MEL systems of national programs and has evaluated key projects sponsored by IFRC, NCBA CLUSA, and TotalEnergies.

    He holds an MBA (Project Management) (USP–Brazil) and a BEng (Mechatronics) and has skills in impact assessment, CLA frameworks, and data systems such as Power BI, KoboToolbox, and ArcGIS. He is also a practitioner of learning, adaptation, and strategic decision-making using a systems-thinking approach.

    Carmen Munhequete

    Director — Resilience, Inclusion & Development

    With more than 20 years on the African continent, Carmen leads transformative climate change adaptation, peacebuilding, and participatory rural development activities. She has worked with Oxfam, ActionAid, and UN agencies in leadership roles, and is a senior researcher at the Eduardo Mondlane University.

    Her work includes policy formulation, institutional change, and programme review with a focus on gender equality, resilience, and system change. Holding double Master's degrees in Rural Development (Eduardo Mondlane University) and Environmental Studies (Melbourne University), Carmen integrates on-the-ground experience with international strategy to achieve scale.

    Mohamed Sheriff

    Director — Humanitarian Strategy & Operations

    More than 20 years in 14 African countries, Mohamed has overseen emergency and development projects that amassed more than $100M. He was earlier Global Supply Chain Executive and Country Director for Joint Aid Management, encompassing big projects in food security, education, WASH, and disability inclusion.

    Credited for systems thinking and moral leadership, Mohamed directs resilient institutions and inclusive impact. He advises high-stakes humanitarian programs and organizational revitalization at Elyon Holding, basing mission in agility and trust.

    Elton Sixpence

    Director — Digital Transformation & Innovation

    Elton is a long-time digital strategist and academic manager for over 20 years in the areas of ICT, e-Government, and tertiary education reform. He is ISUTC's Director of Graduation Programs and President for the Informatics & Computer Engineering College, Order of Engineers of Mozambique. He has served as a consultant for the MIC, pushing digital governance and innovation strategy.

    A PhD graduate of IST–Lisbon, he holds a Master's degree in Network Engineering and a Diploma in Information Systems. He integrates technical skills and teaching leadership and advocates for change across academia, government, and consulting forums.

    Orlique F. Mondlane

    Director — Communication & Digital Creativity

    Orlique is a passionate and multi-faceted graphic designer with over a decade of experience in branding, editorial graphics, advertising, and digital art. He has practiced at creative agencies like Photo Service, National Signs, and New Horizons, and has taught graphic design using software like CorelDRAW and Adobe Creative Suite.

    Identifiable for his superior interpersonal skills, team mindset, and perfectionism, Orlique brings ambitious ideas to life, bridging creative insight and technical know-how through both print and digital imagery.

    Gilberto O. Molande

    Director — Financial Inclusion & MSME Development

    Gilberto has over 15 years of experience navigating entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and livelihood recovery projects across Mozambique and the rest of the region. He is an MBA graduate with a deep background in agribusiness. He has worked with over 500 MSMEs, deployed business incubators, and ran training programs for youth displaced by war, for smallholder farmers, and for business owners.

    He has assisted UN, EU, and World Bank-financed initiatives, applying market-driven models and incubation techniques to trigger employment and sustainability, particularly in areas affected by conflict and in rural areas.

    Angelo Macie

    Finance Director — Strategic Planning & Capital Management

    Angelo has over 25 years of leadership in financial planning across sectors like oil and gas, heavy machinery, banking, and agro-industry. As the Finance Director of Multimaq Group and Tektonika, he has succeeded in arranging multimillion-dollar funding, establishing governance mechanisms, and led high-impact financial planning.

    His career spans Glencore, Banco Austral, and a number of national companies, merging superior technical skills with shrewd negotiation skills and a proven record in regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial control.

    Nascimento Chirenge

    Director — Program Delivery & Operational Excellence

    Nascimento is a seasoned operating executive with over 20 years of experience within consulting, mining, manufacturing, and FMCG. He has worked at leadership levels within eQual, Vale, Mozal, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and Premier, with accountability for broad-based production systems, organizational development, and quality assurance.

    He is a certified ISO auditor and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with considerable experience in continuous improvement, strategic delivery, and systems thinking. He has specific expertise in aligning performance, processes, and teams to deliver scalable, high-impact execution of programs.
