MEET OUR VISIONARIES

Ana da Graça Uamusse brings nearly three decades of leadership in public administration, decentralization policy, and institutional reform in Mozambique. As a senior government official, she has advised ministers, led national reforms, and built critical governance systems — from toponymy regulations to provincial HR information platforms.

A career civil servant, Ana served as Permanent Secretary of Gaza Province and later as Director of the Institute of Geographic Names of Mozambique. She has shaped major legislation, including the Local Government Law (LOLE), frameworks for community authority management, and decentralization strategies that now guide public sector operations across the country.

Known for her rigor, ethics, and deep institutional knowledge, Ana is also a respected trainer and speaker in public administration. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and Territorial Development and has represented Mozambique in professional programs from Lisbon to New York, Nairobi to Macau.
